Mark Zamora

Hey - thanks for checking out my site. Here's a blurb I wrote about myself:

I was born in El Paso, TX on January 1, 1990. Sometime in 1992, I started "playing" Sonic the Hedgehog and I was basically hooked on video games since. Sometime in the later 90's, I was introduced to my parents copy of Back to the Future on VHS and I was basically never going to be the same.

All my life I've been fascinated with pop culture and I've just wanted to tell stories like the ones I watched and played at home. So I set out to make films and/or games.

​

This started with stupid home movies with my sisters involving many lightsaber battles and eventually grew to more serious things like video slideshows for events. 

​

After graduating High School, I went to the University of Texas at Dallas where I studied in the Arts & Technology program where I could combine my love for games, digital art, and filmmaking. While finishing up my last year of college, I produced an episodic games documentary about a small team making their first big game. 

​

I've been working professionally in a video production company I started with my friends since 2012. We get to tell all sorts of stories every day and that's what I'm truly passionate about.

I'm also not really great at writing personal blurbs, so let's just chat sometime!
